We visited the following places facilities to learn
about anti-UV measures in Australia.
メルボルン日本人学校
素晴らしい天気の中、メルボルンに1つの日本人学校に。日本よりも日本らしい文化も学習も進んだ学校だと感じました。
生徒達は、日陰で35度以内なら帽子をかぶりランチ後にはUVカットクリームを塗って野外活動へ。外でバトミントンをする中学生は全員長袖を着用していた。また、校庭には、大きなテント地のシェードが2つ置かれていて、日陰を作っていた。先生方の徹底した学習方針がうかがえる学校でした。
The Japanese School of Melbourne
The weather was beautiful in Melbourne,
when we visited this Melbourne’s only Japanese School.
It was a wonderful school that provides culture and learning that is more Japanese than Japan. We asked the Principal, Mrs. Ueno about students' lives and UV countermeasures.
For students' measures against ultraviolet rays, after applying UV-cut cream at home, they paint it again after lunch before going to outdoor activities. All middle school students who play badminton outside wear long sleeves and a cap.
Also, in the schoolyard, there were big two tents to create shades.
